Boliviana de Aviación, simply known as BOA, is the flag carrier for Bolivia. Wholly owned by the country’s Government, the airline was established in 2007. It operates a fleet of 20 aircraft including 16 x B737, 2 x B767 and 2 x Bombardier Regional Jets CRJ – 200ER. From their home base in Cochabamba they fly to 9 domestic points within Bolivia and 5 international routes including 4 services a week to Madrid. The airline has recently signed a code share agreement with Iberia to open up through-services to/from Madrid to key UK and European cities.
